Day 5: Tell Somebody

Reading: John 1:35-46

Andrew found Jesus and immediately went to find his brother. Philip found Jesus and immediately told Nathanael. Neither man had a theology degree. Neither had a carefully prepared presentation. They simply had an encounter and a name -- Jesus. That was enough. The pattern of the early disciples was refreshingly simple: find, tell, bring. They did not wait until they understood everything. They did not disqualify themselves because of where they were from or what they had done. When God places someone in your sphere of influence who is still searching, you do not need all the answers. You need faithfulness, a willing voice, and trust that He will do what only He can do.
