Day 4: Living Stones in a Dry World
Reading: 1 Peter 2:4-5
A lithop is a desert succulent that survives in harsh, dry, seemingly lifeless conditions. It needs bright light, well-drained soil, and living water to thrive. It looks like a stone but it is very much alive. God's word calls His people living stones -- built together into something far greater than any individual piece. In a world that grows increasingly dry and dark, believers are meant to be unmistakably alive. The same things a lithop needs to survive are the very things Christ provides -- He is the light of the world, the living water, and the solid ground. You were designed to thrive in the very conditions the world calls impossible.
