Day 4: Separation and Service
Reading: 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Joshua 23:6-8
You cannot walk with the world and effectively impact it for Christ. The world will pull you back in. God calls us to be separate—not isolated, but distinct. This means guarding what you watch, who you align with, and what you allow to influence your mind. It means not making mention of other gods, not bowing to cultural pressure, and holding fast to the Lord your God. Separation isn't about being better than others; it's about being different for a purpose. When you live set apart, people notice. They'll want what you have when their world falls apart. Don't compromise to fit in. Stand firm in your convictions. Conduct yourself in a manner worthy of the gospel. Your separation creates a hunger in others for the peace and joy only Christ can give.
