Day 3: Passing the Torch

Reading: 2 Timothy 2:1-2; 1 Timothy 4:11-12

Your life is a flame that can light countless others. The question isn't whether you have enough left in your candle—it's whether you're willing to light the next generation's torch. Paul told Timothy not to let anyone look down on him because he was young, but to set an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Whether you're older and wondering if your best days are behind you, or younger and feeling inadequate, God says: You are needed now. The older generation must invest in those coming behind them. The younger generation must step up and be the example, regardless of age or experience. Stop waiting for someone else to do it. What flame can you light today? What encouragement can you give? Live so authentically for Christ that others catch fire from your passion.
