Day 4: Hands on the Plow

Reading: Luke 9:57-62

Devotional: Jesus doesn't sugarcoat discipleship. Following Him means putting your hand to the plow and never looking back—even when the work is hard, the view isn't pretty, and the oxen in front of you aren't cooperating. The plow represents commitment, consistency, and forward motion. It's not glamorous work. You'll face days when everything in you wants to quit, when the cost feels too high, when others seem to have it easier. But here's the truth: anyone can start. The question is, who will persevere? Your consistency matters more than you know. Your children are watching. Your coworkers are noticing. Your friends need to see someone who doesn't quit when it gets hard. Keep your hands on that plow. God is accomplishing something beneath the surface that you cannot yet see. Your faithfulness is turning soil for a future harvest.
