Day 3: Wholehearted Devotion

Reading: Deuteronomy 6:4-9

The Shema—"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one"—calls us to wholehearted devotion. God doesn't want compartmentalized faith that we practice on Sundays but abandon on Mondays. He wants our hearts, souls, and strength. The command to talk about God's ways when we sit, walk, lie down, and rise up means faith should permeate every moment. Children don't need perfect parents; they need authentic ones who genuinely love God. When faith is written on our hearts, it naturally overflows into our homes, conversations, and daily rhythms. Our lives become living testimonies.

Reflection: Is your faith evident in your everyday life, or is it confined to religious moments?

Application: Identify one daily routine where you can intentionally incorporate faith conversations or Scripture.
