Day 2: Equipped by God's Word

Reading: 2 Timothy 3:14-17

Many of us feel inadequate to raise children in faith or mentor younger believers. We think we lack the knowledge, patience, or spiritual maturity. But God's Word assures us that Scripture itself equips us for every good work. The Bible isn't just information—it's transformation. When we immerse ourselves in God's Word, it teaches, rebukes, corrects, and trains us in righteousness. We don't need to be perfect; we need to be teachable. God's Spirit works through His Word to prepare us for the calling He's placed on our lives, including raising up the next generation.

Reflection: When do you feel most inadequate in your spiritual responsibilities? How can God's Word equip you for that specific challenge?

Application: Choose one verse from today's reading to memorize and meditate on throughout the day.
