Day 3: The Ministry of Reconciliation

Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:16-21

As Christ's ambassadors, we carry a message of reconciliation—both between God and humanity, and between people. Yet how often do our words create division rather than unity? The Holy Spirit may bring to mind specific people you've wounded with careless or cruel words. Don't dismiss these promptings. God is inviting you into the freedom that comes from making things right. The outcome of your apology isn't what matters most; your obedience to God's leading is. When you humble yourself and seek forgiveness, you break chains that have held you captive, regardless of how the other person responds. Is there someone God is calling you to approach today? Trust that His grace will sustain you through the discomfort of reconciliation.
