Day 3: God Redeems What Was Lost
Reading: Genesis 50:15-21; Romans 8:28
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good." Joseph's words to his brothers reveal a profound truth: God is the redeemer of wasted time, broken dreams, and painful seasons. What looks like a pit to us is often a passageway to God's purpose.
Have you wasted time? Made foolish choices? Wandered far from God? The enemy wants you paralyzed by regret, but God wants to redeem every moment. He doesn't just forgive the past; He works it together for good. That prayer of desperation, that season of wandering, that painful consequence—none of it is beyond His redemptive power. When you pour out your heart honestly before Him and ask Him to redeem the time you've wasted, He will. He's already working. The very struggles that feel like setbacks may be positioning you for breakthrough. Trust Him. He redeems lives from the pit and crowns them with love and compassion.
Reflection: What area of your past do you need to surrender to God's redemptive power? Will you ask Him today to redeem what feels wasted?
