Day 3: Dwelling Richly in His Word
Reading: Colossians 3:15-17; Psalm 63:1-8
"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly." Not just visit occasionally—dwell. Not barely survive—richly. God's Word isn't meant to be something we check off our list but the guiding force of who we are.
When Christ's message dwells richly within you, something springs forth that's not from you but from Him. You begin teaching and encouraging others. Worship flows naturally. Gratitude becomes your default setting rather than complaint.
The psalmist declared, "I think of you through the watches of the night." God's Word sustained him in sleepless hours of anxiety. When you hide Scripture in your heart—even simple verses like "Rejoice always"—the Holy Spirit brings them to remembrance exactly when you need them. Stop saying you can't remember Scripture. Start small. Memorize one verse this week.
Reflection: What Scripture will you commit to memory and meditate on this week?
