Day 2: The Word Made Flesh
Reading: John 1:1-14
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." This profound truth reminds us that Jesus existed before creation, yet chose to enter humanity as a helpless infant. The Creator became the created. The eternal became temporal. Why? So that flesh could pay for the penalty of our sin. This is the heart of Christmas—not sentimentality, but salvation. Jesus is the light that darkness cannot overcome or understand. When you encounter people who don't understand your faith, remember they're living in darkness that only Christ can penetrate. Your role isn't to argue them into belief, but to shine the light of Christ through your life. Today, thank Jesus for humbling Himself to become flesh, to relate to your struggles, and to provide the way to eternal life.
