Day 3: Emmanuel—God With Us
Reading: Matthew 1:18-25
"They will call him Emmanuel, which means God with us." This name reveals the heart of God's plan—not a distant deity, but an intimate Savior who enters our mess. Joseph faced confusion, Mary faced scandal, yet God was orchestrating the greatest rescue mission in history. When life feels chaotic and your circumstances seem overwhelming, remember: God is with you. Not watching from afar, but present in your struggle. The same God who guided Joseph through his confusion wants to guide you through yours. Have you taken His presence for granted? Have you let the familiarity of the Christmas story dull its power in your life? Today, pray David's prayer: "Restore to me the joy of your salvation." Ask God for fresh eyes to see His presence in your daily life—in your challenges, your relationships, and your mundane moments.
