Day 1: Examining Our Faith

Reading: 2 Corinthians 13:5-6; James 1:5-8

The Christian life requires honest self-examination. Paul urges us to test ourselves to ensure Christ truly dwells within us. This isn't about earning salvation but about authentically walking in faith. James warns that doubt makes us unstable, tossed like waves on the sea—unreliable in everything we do. When we waver between trust and unbelief, we become spiritually paralyzed. God invites us to ask for wisdom liberally, but we must ask in faith without doubting. Today, examine your heart honestly. Where has doubt crept in? What situations cause you to question God's faithfulness? Bring these areas before Him, asking for unwavering faith. Remember, faith isn't the absence of questions but the choice to trust God despite them.
