Day 1: Enter With Gratitude
Reading: Psalm 100:1-5
It is easy to arrive at worship beaten down by the weight of the week, expecting a blessing without first offering one. Psalm 100 is a call to intentional praise before anything else happens. Thanksgiving is not a response to favorable circumstances. It is a discipline of the heart that positions you to receive what God has already prepared. Before you bring your requests today, bring your gratitude. Name what He has already done. Recount His faithfulness. When you enter His presence with praise rather than complaint, something shifts in your spirit. Gratitude is not weakness. It is the foundation of a life built on trust.
Reflection: What is one thing God has done in your life that you have stopped thanking Him for? Bring that to Him today.
Practical Application: Before making a single request in prayer today, spend at least five minutes listing what God has already provided, healed, or carried you through.
