Day 5: A Why Worth Dying For
Reading: 1 Peter 1:3-9
The disciples fled when the pressure came because their why had not yet been fully formed. But something changed. The same men who scattered in fear died in distant lands, refusing to be silent about what Christ had done. The pastor laid it out plainly: they were spread across the world, each one martyred for declaring the same truth. What changed was not their circumstances. What changed was the clarity of their why. You have been born into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. That hope does not spoil. It does not fade. It is kept for you. Live accordingly.
Reflection: What would your daily life look like if you lived with the same unshakable clarity of purpose that the disciples ultimately demonstrated? Identify one concrete step you can take this week to align your life more fully with that kind of commitment.
