Day 5: Running the Race With Endurance

Reading: Hebrews 11:36-40 and Hebrews 12:1-3

Those who have gone before us endured things that are almost unimaginable, and they did so without yet seeing the fulfillment of what God had promised. They pressed forward on faith alone. Now they stand as witnesses to the faithfulness of God, cheering on every believer who chooses not to quit. Your obstacles are not the end of your story. They are the very terrain on which your faith is strengthened and your testimony is built. Fix your eyes on Jesus, the one who endured the cross and sat down in victory. He is both the example and the power by which you finish well.

Reflection: What is the weight or sin that most easily entangles you and slows your race? What would it look like to lay it down today?

Practical Application: Find one person in your life who is struggling to keep going in their faith. Reach out to them this week with an encouraging word, a Scripture, or simply your presence. Be part of their cloud of witnesses.
