Day 5: Never Too Young, Never Too Old
Reading: Psalm 119:9-18; Psalm 103:1-5
Whether you're young or old, God has a purpose for you in this season. Young person, hide God's Word in your heart now. Carry the Bible while you're young so it can carry you when you're old. The decisions you make today will echo into eternity. Don't waste your youth on temporary pleasures when you could be building an unshakable foundation.
Older believer, you're not finished. That old, weathered tree standing in the woods still reflects the glory of the sunset. You don't have to do more—just stand in God's presence and let His glory bounce off your life. Your prayers hold down anchor ropes for the next generation. Your testimony encourages those who wonder if faith endures. God satisfies your desires with good things so your youth is renewed like the eagle's. From young to old, we all have one calling: reflect His glory. Declare His praises. Live worthy of the high calling of the gospel. Your age doesn't disqualify you—it positions you to fulfill God's unique purpose for this exact moment.
Reflection: How is God calling you to reflect His glory in your current season of life? What's one specific way you can fulfill that calling this week?
