Day 4: Pressing Through the Storm

Reading: Psalm 63:1-4; James 4:8-10

Discouragement comes to everyone. There are seasons when life feels dry, prayers seem unanswered, and support systems fail. In these moments, we discover a powerful truth: God never fails. He doesn't always remove the storm, but He promises His presence within it. His voice comes not in a shout from a distance, but in a gentle whisper that draws us close. When you're downcast, don't run from God—run to Him. Draw near, and He will draw near to you. Humble yourself before Him, and He will lift you up. The breakthrough often comes not by going around the difficulty, but by going through it with God. Today, press in during your discouragement, not away.
