Day 4: Overcoming Anxiety with Prayer

Philippians 4:6-7, Matthew 6:25-34

Anxiety can feel like a constant battle in our lives. Yet, God's Word provides us with a powerful antidote: prayer with thanksgiving. When we bring our concerns to God and couple them with gratitude, we open ourselves to His peace that surpasses understanding.

Make a list of your current worries and anxieties. Next to each one, write something you're thankful for related to that situation. For example, if you're anxious about a job interview, thank God for the opportunity. Spend time praying through this list, offering each concern to God and expressing your gratitude. Notice how this practice changes your perspective on your challenges.
