Day 3: Being Still in God's Presence

Psalm 46:10-11, Exodus 14:13-14

In our busy, fast-paced world, being still before God can feel like a luxury we can't afford. Yet, Scripture repeatedly emphasizes the importance of stillness in our spiritual lives. When Moses told the Israelites to "be still" before the Red Sea, he was inviting them into a posture of trust and expectation.

Today, carve out time to be still before God. Start with just 5 minutes of silence, focusing on God's presence. As distracting thoughts come, gently return your focus to God. Reflect on areas of your life where you're tempted to "fight" in your own strength. How might God be inviting you to be still and let Him fight for you?
