Day 4: Only One Life
Reading: Luke 12:13-21; Philippians 3:10-14
"Only one life will soon be passed; only what's done for Christ will last." These words confront our tendency to store up earthly treasures while neglecting eternal riches. What are you rich toward? If your life ended tonight, would your investments reflect God's kingdom or personal comfort? Paul abandoned everything to know Christ and the power of His resurrection. This isn't about religious performance but passionate pursuit of intimacy with God. Examine where your time, energy, and resources flow. Are you building bigger barns for yourself or running a rescue mission near hell's edge? The world's success metrics fade, but souls last forever. Today, realign your priorities. Make the most of every opportunity because the days are evil and your time is limited.
Reflection Question: If your life ended today, what would others say you were rich toward—God's kingdom or earthly pursuits?
