Day 4: Go Forward Through the Sea

Reading: Exodus 14:13-15; Isaiah 43:16-19

God deliberately led Israel to a place with no visible way out. Mountains on either side, an army behind them, and a sea ahead. It looked like a trap. It was actually a stage. God was not absent in that narrow place; He was orchestrating something that could only be credited to Him. He told Moses to stop crying out and tell the people to go forward. That command still stands. The God who made a path through the sea is the same God who says He is doing a new thing in your life right now. Do you perceive it? Forward movement in impossible circumstances is not recklessness. It is faith in a God who parts waters.

Reflection: What impossible situation in your life might God be using as a stage to display His power rather than a sign of His absence?

Application: Take one step of obedience today in an area where fear has caused you to stand still. Trust that God goes before you.
