Day 4: Christ Dwelling Within

Reading: Galatians 2:20; Colossians 3:16

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." This is the essence of spiritual capacity—making room for Christ to dwell, not just visit. Many Christians invite Jesus to help with problems but never give Him permanent residence. They want His intervention without His occupation. But true spiritual growth happens when Christ doesn't just visit your crisis; He dwells in your heart. This requires crucifixion—death to self-rule, self-promotion, self-protection. It means getting off the throne of your own life. When you decrease, He increases. When you surrender control, His power flows. The Christian life isn't about improving yourself; it's about replacing yourself with Christ. Let His Word dwell in you richly. Let His presence fill every room of your heart. Stop being the captain of your own ship and let the Master take the helm.
