Day 3: Rooted and Built Up

Reading: Colossians 2:6-8

Just as you received Christ, continue in Him. The Christian life isn't about striving to reach Jesus; it's about abiding in Him. Paul warns us against hollow philosophies that sound appealing but lack substance. The world constantly offers shortcuts and alternatives, but only Christ provides the deep roots we need. Trees planted by water don't panic during drought—their roots go deep. Similarly, when you're rooted in Christ, strengthened in faith, and overflowing with thankfulness, circumstances cannot uproot you. See to it—take action—that no deceptive teaching captures your mind. This requires vigilance, daily choosing truth over trends, Scripture over speculation. Today, examine what's shaping your thoughts. Is it rooted in Christ or worldly wisdom?
