Day 3: Peace in the Middle of the Storm
Reading: John 14:1-3, John 16:32-33
Jesus spoke the words of John 14 in the shadow of the cross. He knew betrayal was coming, suffering was coming, and death was coming — and still He said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled." This was not denial. It was declaration. He was telling His disciples, and He is telling you, that trouble does not have the final word. The Father's house is already prepared. The place is already set. Whatever hardship surrounds you today, you are held by a God who has overcome the very worst this world can offer. Your peace is not found in your circumstances. It is found in Him.
Reflection Question: In what area of your life do you need to receive the peace that Christ promises rather than continuing to carry the weight alone?
Practical Application: Identify one worry you have been holding onto this week. Write it down, pray over it specifically, and physically set the paper aside as an act of surrender to the Father's care.
