Day 3: Light in the Darkness
Reading: John 3:19-21; Matthew 5:14-16
Jesus declared Himself the Light of the world, but He also called you light. When Christ dwells in you, His light shines through you into a dark world. This isn't always comfortable—light exposes what darkness conceals. Many will resist your witness not because you lack love, but because truth reveals what people prefer to hide. Yet this is precisely why the world needs you to shine. Don't hide your light under a basket of fear or compromise. Speak truth wrapped in genuine love. Live with integrity that cannot be dismissed. Your life may be the only Bible some people read. The world doesn't need more noise; it needs the authentic light of Christ demonstrated through transformed lives. Be bold yet compassionate, truthful yet gracious.
Reflection Question: Where is God calling you to be light this week, even if it feels uncomfortable?
