Day 2: When God Stops You at a Bitter Place

Reading: Exodus 15:22-26

The Israelites had just witnessed one of the greatest miracles in human history. The Red Sea had parted. Their enemies had been swallowed up. And within three days, they were grumbling. God led them directly to a place called Bitterness -- not to punish them, but to reveal what was already inside them. He is still doing that today. The difficult seasons, the frustrating relationships, the unanswered questions -- these are not signs that God has abandoned you. They are often invitations to look inward. He is Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. But healing requires honesty about what needs to be healed.

Personal Reflection: Is there a difficult season in your life right now that may be God's way of surfacing something in your heart that needs to be addressed rather than avoided?

Practical Application: Spend time in quiet prayer today and ask God to reveal any bitterness you have been carrying without fully acknowledging it. Write down what comes to mind without judgment, and offer it honestly to Him.
