Day 2: Faith Against All Hope
Reading: Romans 4:18-25
Abraham did not pretend his circumstances were easy. He faced the full weight of what seemed impossible and chose to believe anyway. His faith was not blind optimism. It was a deliberate, sustained trust in a God whose word does not return empty. He did not waver, not because the situation improved, but because he was fully persuaded that God had the power to do what He promised. That same credit of righteousness, Paul tells us, was written for our benefit as well. The faith that sustained Abraham is the same faith available to you today. God's promises have not expired.
Reflection: Where in your life are you tempted to stop believing because the circumstances look impossible?
Practical Application: Identify one promise in Scripture that speaks directly to your current struggle. Pray over it daily this week, thanking God in advance for His faithfulness.
