Day 2: Entering His Gates with Thanksgiving

Reading: Psalm 100

Thanksgiving is not merely a response to good circumstances—it's the key that unlocks God's presence in our lives. When we enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, we position ourselves to experience His goodness. This isn't about feelings; it's about obedience to God's will for us. First Thessalonians tells us to give thanks in ALL circumstances, not just pleasant ones. This challenges us to trust a God who sees from beginning to end, who knows everything in between. Today, practice thanksgiving even when it doesn't make sense. Like the Ten Boom sisters thanking God for fleas in a concentration camp, sometimes our greatest irritations become our greatest protections. What "fleas" in your life might God be using for your good?
