Day 2: Chosen and Called by God

1 Peter 2:1-9

Today's reading reminds us of our identity in Christ - we are "a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession" (1 Peter 2:9). Like Daniel, who remained faithful to God despite pressure and persecution, we are called to live out our faith boldly. Consider how your life reflects your status as God's chosen one. Are there areas where you've been hiding your light? Ask God for courage to fully embrace and live out your calling as His ambassador in the world.
