Day 1: Wake Up from Spiritual Slumber

Reading: Ephesians 5:14-21

"Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." These powerful words call us from spiritual complacency to intentional living. How much time have we wasted in spiritual sleep, going through motions without truly experiencing God's presence? The call to "be very careful how you live" isn't about legalism—it's about recognizing the preciousness of each moment God grants us.

Today, examine where you've been spiritually drowsy. Perhaps you've allowed screen time, busyness, or worldly pursuits to steal hours that could have been invested in eternal purposes. God isn't condemning you; He's inviting you to awaken to His light. When Christ shines on you, everything changes. Make the most of every opportunity, not because days are long, but because they are evil and time is short. Let the Spirit fill you afresh today.

Reflection: What area of your life needs to "wake up" spiritually? What one change can you make today to live more intentionally for Christ?
