Day 1: Rejoicing Always
Reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Psalm 100
"Rejoice always. Pray continually. Give thanks in all circumstances." These aren't suggestions—they're God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Notice the simplicity yet profoundness of these commands. Rejoicing isn't dependent on circumstances but on who God is. When you wake tomorrow, before your feet hit the floor, declare: "This is the day the Lord has made!"
Your gratitude unlocks God's presence. The enemy wants you focused on problems, but God invites you into His courts with thanksgiving. Today, practice the presence of God—walk aware that you're His child, surrendered to Him throughout every moment. Let complaints fade as you remember: your God neither slumbers nor sleeps. He's working even when you can't see it.
Reflection: What complaint have you been harboring? Replace it today with one specific praise.
