Day 1: Examining What Is Really Inside
Reading: 2 Corinthians 13:5-6
It is far easier to appear well on the outside than to honestly assess what is happening within. The call to examine yourself is not meant to produce shame but to produce clarity. Many people carry hidden burdens, unresolved doubts, and quiet desperation while presenting a composed exterior to the world. God is not fooled by the surface. He already knows what is underneath, and He is not afraid of what He finds there. The invitation to examine yourself is ultimately an invitation to honesty before a God who already loves you completely. Stop performing. Start being real with Him.
Practical Application: Set aside ten minutes today in a quiet place. Write down one area of your spiritual life where you have been less than honest with God. Bring it before Him in prayer without trying to explain it away.
