Day 5: Experiencing Salvation and New Life

Romans 8:8-11, 2 Corinthians 5:17

The story of the floating axe head reminds us of the miraculous nature of salvation. Just as the axe head was lifted from the depths, so too are we raised to new life in Christ. Reflect on your own salvation experience. How has God lifted you from the "depths" and given you new life? If you haven't yet experienced this salvation, consider what's holding you back from fully surrendering to Christ. Spend time in prayer, thanking God for the gift of salvation and the indwelling of His Spirit, or asking Him to reveal Himself to you in a new way.
