Day 5: Equipped for Every Good Work

1 Peter 4:10-11 and Ephesians 6:10-18

God has uniquely gifted each of us to serve others and advance His kingdom. These gifts aren't for our own glory, but to faithfully steward God's grace. When we use our gifts for His purposes, He magnifies their impact beyond what we could imagine.

However, we're in a spiritual battle, and we need to be properly equipped. Paul's description of the armor of God reminds us that our struggle isn't against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil. Each piece of armor - truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, the Word of God - is essential for standing firm in our faith.

Today, identify one gift God has given you and consider how you can use it to serve others this week. Then, mentally put on each piece of spiritual armor, asking God to strengthen you for whatever battles you may face.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for equipping me with both spiritual gifts and armor. Help me to faithfully use what You've given me for Your glory and the good of others. Strengthen me to stand firm in my faith today.
