Day 4: The Humble Mat

Reading: Mark 2:1-5

Four friends literally tore through a roof to bring their paralyzed friend to Jesus. They refused to let obstacles stop them. Sometimes the hardest thing is admitting you need help—getting on the mat. Pride tells us to figure it out alone, to stay stuck rather than be vulnerable. But transformation requires humility. Who needs to carry your mat right now? Who could you call to pray for you? Equally important: whose mat are you carrying? Who needs you to persistently bring them to Jesus? Don't wait until you feel strong enough. Come to Jesus in your weakness. Let others help you. And be the friend who won't take no for an answer when someone needs to encounter Christ.
