Day 4: Continue in Faith Through Every Season

Reading: 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Colossians 1:21-23

Devotional: Christmas can be difficult when circumstances have changed, when loved ones are absent, when joy feels forced. Yet God calls us to continue in faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope of the gospel. Continuing doesn't mean denying pain; it means choosing to press forward despite it. Timothy learned faith in a broken home through faithful women who refused to give up. Who needs your faithful example today? Your labor in the Lord is never in vain, even when you cannot see immediate results. Interrupt negative thinking by speaking God's Word aloud. When anxious thoughts spiral, declare Scripture over your situation. God is achieving something eternal through your momentary troubles—something that far outweighs them all. Choose today to stand firm, serve consistently, and maintain an eternal perspective regardless of your present circumstances.
