Day 4: Called to Bear Fruit

Reading: John 15:1-8; Philippians 2:12-18

Jesus declares Himself the vine and us the branches—a relationship of total dependence. Apart from Him, we can do nothing; connected to Him, we bear much fruit. This isn't about striving but abiding, maintaining that vital connection through the three points of contact. Paul challenges the Philippians to work out their salvation without complaining or arguing, shining like stars in a dark world. Our fruitfulness isn't measured by spectacular achievements but by consistent faithfulness, transformed character, and love for others. Are you trying to produce fruit through your own effort, or are you abiding in Christ, allowing His life to flow through you? Today, surrender your striving. Ask God to prune what hinders growth and to produce His fruit through your simple obedience and connection to Him.
