Day 3: Training Up the Next Generation

Reading: Proverbs 22:5-6; Deuteronomy 6:4-9

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." This promise requires faithfulness, not perfection. Training means setting boundaries, saying no when necessary, and modeling genuine faith in everyday moments. It means talking about God's goodness at home, on the road, when you lie down and when you rise up. If you have wandering children, don't give up. Your prayers have no expiration date. God is faithful to His promises. Keep interceding, keep trusting, keep pointing them to Jesus. The harvest may come when they are old, not when you are.

Reflection Question: How are you intentionally passing on faith to those God has placed in your life?
