Day 3: Pressing Forward in Faith
Reading: Philippians 3:12-14
Devotional: Paul's declaration is revolutionary: "Forgetting what lies behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on." This isn't denial of the past; it's refusal to be defined by it. Too many believers spend their present looking backward, replaying failures, rehearsing regrets, and reliving wounds.
God has called you forward. The testimony burning in you isn't just about where you've been—it's about where you're going. Every struggle you've survived wasn't meant to stop you but to prepare you for what's ahead. Your greatest ministry often flows from your deepest pain.
What are you still dragging from yesterday that God wants you to release today? Unforgiveness? Shame? Fear? The prize of God's heavenly calling requires both hands—you can't grasp it while clutching your past.
Today, identify one thing you need to "forget" (release to God) and one thing you need to "press toward" (pursue with renewed faith).
