Day 3: Preparing the Way for the Lord

Isaiah 40:3-5, Luke 3:4-6

John the Baptist called people to prepare the way for the Lord. In our own lives, we too are called to prepare the way for God to work. What "valleys" need to be filled in your life? What "mountains" need to be made low? These could be areas of pride, fear, or unbelief. Spend time in prayer, asking God to reveal any obstacles in your heart that are hindering His work. Commit to taking one practical step today to "prepare the way" for God to move more freely in your life and through you to others.
