Day 2: The Danger of "I Don't Do That"

Reading: Luke 9:57-62; Mark 1:16-20

The most dangerous boundary in your spiritual life might be the phrase "I don't do that." When Jesus called His first disciples, they left everything immediately—nets, boats, family businesses, and tax booths. They didn't negotiate or set conditions. What if they had responded with our modern excuses: "I'm not comfortable with that" or "That's just not me"? The Gospel would look radically different. Your "I don't do that" might be blocking the very breakthrough God wants to bring—not just for you, but for your family and others around you. God works outside our comfort zones because that's where faith grows. Today, identify one area where you've drawn a boundary and told God "no." What freedom, healing, or purpose might be waiting on the other side of your obedience?
