Day 2: Finding Strength in God's Presence
Psalm 46:1-11
Life often presents us with challenges that make us feel "hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair" (2 Corinthians 4:8). In these moments, we must remember that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. The Psalmist encourages us to "be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). This stillness isn't passive; it's an active trust in God's sovereignty. When you feel overwhelmed or uncertain, pause and consciously enter into God's presence. Visualize yourself being enveloped by His love and strength. How does this change your perspective on your current circumstances? Today, practice being still in God's presence, allowing His peace to fill you and His strength to sustain you.
