Day 2: Breaking the Chains

Reading: John 8:31-36; Galatians 5:1

Invisible chains are often the strongest. Fear of judgment, shame from the past, comfort in complacency—these bind us more effectively than any physical restraint. Jesus declared that whom the Son sets free is free indeed, yet many believers remain chained to their seats, afraid to move toward the freedom Christ purchased. What invisible chains hold you? Perhaps it's the fear of what others will think, or shame you've carried too long. The chains fall when you stand—when you decide that living for Jesus matters more than maintaining appearances. Freedom begins with one courageous step toward God. The weight you've been carrying was never meant to be yours. Leave it at His feet today.
