Day 1: The Foundation of Praise
Reading: Psalm 34:1-8
Devotional: David declares, "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." This isn't conditional praise—it's constant. Notice David wrote this after moral failure, after being confronted by Nathan the prophet. Yet he understood something profound: God doesn't require perfection to receive our praise; He desires a repentant heart.
When you feel disqualified by past mistakes, remember that God chose David—a man of significant moral failure—because David turned his face toward God. Your past doesn't disqualify you from praising Him today. In fact, your brokenness becomes the very platform for His glory.
Today, pause three times to simply say, "Blessed be the name of the Lord," regardless of your circumstances. Let praise become your default response, not your last resort.
